Privacy policy
This policy has not been published yet. The section below sets out what it has to cover before the estimate form can collect personal information.
Why this blocks the estimate form
The estimate form collects names, phone numbers, email addresses, property addresses and uploaded photographs. In Alberta that is personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act, and Canadian federal PIPEDA rules apply to commercial activity across provinces. The form’s consent checkbox already links to this page, so the policy has to exist before the form goes live.
What the policy needs to cover
- What is collected through the estimate form, and why each field is needed.
- How long submissions and uploaded photos are kept, and how they are deleted.
- Who else sees the data — email host, form handler, analytics, any CRM.
- Whether data leaves Canada, which it does if the form or mail is hosted in the US.
- How someone requests their information or asks for it to be deleted.
- A named privacy contact and a reachable address for requests.
- Whether the site uses cookies or analytics, and on what basis.
Until this is published, direct any privacy question to contact@jasrik.ca or 403-401-9899.
